SESSA Structure

SESSA Council

  • Consists of the elected volunteers, as well as  one representative of each division (normally the division chairman)
  • In addition people my be co-opted by the council from time to time.
  • Council is elected for a two year period
  • Council office bearers are voted amongst the council members

SESSA Divisions

  • Divisions are either technology groupings or interest groups like the opportunity builders
  • Executives are volunteers for each division who are voted by the specific membership of that division every two years
  • Executive office bearers are voted amongst the executive members
  • Various Portfolio Managers are elected by each division from the executive to ensure that the divisions are represented in all spheres and replicated across various divisions
  • Typical portfolios include: Members & finance, Complaints & Compliments,  In-house & Legal, Standards, Communications, government, Parastatal & Corporate, Finance & Insurance, Associations,  Education and Training and Local Manufacturing
